Kid Rock sues to stop the sex tape

February 23, 2006

Kid Rock SuesAs expected something did happen concerning the sex tape that involves Kid Rock and Scott Stapp. Rock won a ban of the sex tape to be distributed on the web sites that were specially created for this. The tape, that is believed to have been shot in 1999, will be allowed distribution starting Friday, unless Kid Rock’s attorney gets the full ban. The singer’s consultant declared:

“The bottom line in our suit is that everyone has a right of privacy, even is they’re a public figure. Stapp shot the tape. It was his property, and it should’ve remained his property and as such, this case is really sort of a no-brainer. It has direct parallels to the Bret Michaels case because this tape is private. We’re not trailblazing anything new here.

Madonna is having a lot of problems. Now Hernia!

February 22, 2006

Madonna herniaJust in case you do not know or have forgotten, Madonna had a nasty accident after falling from a horse last year in August, on her birthday. The result was a broken collar bone and three cracked ribs. Now, the pop icon was hospitalized again. This time Madonna, had a minor hernia and was operated. It seems that all is fine and she did appear in public after the operation to receive a “Female Artist of the Year” award. The official statement issued by Madonna’s spokesman was simple and at the point:

” She had a minor procedure for a hernia and is absolutely fine now. “

Kid Rock and Scott Stap – the sex incident

February 22, 2006

Kid Rock sexStap SexWell, a long time has passed since Paris Hilton’s sex tape (“One night in Paris”) incident. Red Light District, the company that was involved in the scandal at that time is at it again. This time the target is Kid Rock and Scott Stap. It seems that the company recently acquired a tape in which the two are having explicit sexual interactions with four females during Rock’s tour. An official of the company declared that:

“This wasn’t just shot by one person — there were a lot of people holding the camera. Because of that, it’s not necessary that we need (Rock and Stapp) to sign off on this. We left messages for them but they didn’t respond, so maybe they didn’t take it seriously.”

As expected there hasn’t been any reply from Kid Rock or Scott Stap but soon they will surely step up and reply to this tape.

Obie Trice is back after being shot

February 22, 2006

Obie trice is backAs you might know Obie Trice was shot in the head in the very last day of 2005. Well, guess what, he’s back. He will soon release a new track called “They Wanna Kill Me”. As the title suggest the track is linked with the shooting incident. Obie makes fun of the shooters including several lyrics like “I ain’t mad at you dog/You get money from the streets/I get it from Billboard” or “Bullet by his brain, right?/A couple of more inches, it could have been a night, night/But the Almighty wasn’t ready for O. Trice”. The new Obie Trice album will be released under Shady Records but a release date was not mentioned.

Bono Attacked because he is George Bush’s friend

February 22, 2006

Bono and BushU2’s Bono is well known across the world for all his charity work and good actions. A problem appeared though. Even if everybody accepts and supports his moves, Oposers of the Bush regime think that it is all pointless because of the singer’s friendship with the president. Bono did not stand long to reply declaring:

“We have had lots of rows and we have denounced the Bush administration when they have made mistakes, but we’re not placarding and throwing rotten tomatoes at people who are trebling our aid to Africa.”

In other news Bono was also involved in a charity in Brazil. He there said:

“To beat poverty, we all have to work together…Martin Luther King didn’t just have an American dream, but an Irish dream, a Latin American dream – sing for Peru, for Chile, for Argentina, for Brazil.”

Britney Spears wants to get back to singing as soon as possible

February 22, 2006

Britney Wants to get backIt appears that miss Britney Spears can not wait to get back to a tour and to release a new album. After so many problems lately including paparazzi scandals and the split with her husband she needed time off. Britney declared:

“This may sound weird, but I miss traveling. I miss the road, seeing different places and being with the dancers and having fun. That feeling of being on the stage, knowing it’s your best — I love that. I needed a break. I needed to be hungry again. It’s been boring, nothing’s been wow to me.”

We really are anxious to see what the pop diva will put out next. It’s sure that Britney Spears wants to get back on the top spot but will that be possible after so many problems and negative publicity? We all know that the audience does not tolerate well problems with children for instance and Britney has been under the public eye with a lot of bad articles by newspapers lately.

February 22, 2006

PharellPharell was supposed to launch a new album. It was delayed but know it became reality again. He did not say anything else about it but he does seem prety anxious about the new release. All he had to say was:

“I’m done now, I’m finally done, Just wait till you hear it. Forget about it.”

Michael Jackson to sing the Pope’s Prayers

February 7, 2006

Strange title right? Michael Jakson has been approached by rev. Giuseppe Moscatti to record a song with the lyrics of a prayer wrote by Pope John Paul II. The project seems so far fetched for me because of the amount of money that would need to be paid. We all know that Michael Jakson will ask for a high price as he always does that and he is having money problems at the moment. Spokesmen for the pop icon have declared that Jackson has been approached with the project a year ago but because of the legal problems he had Michael couldn’t do it. We will have to wait and see if things work out.

Moby attacks George W. Bush

February 7, 2006

It isn’t a secret that Moby doesn’t like the government and probably any government at all. He again attacked George Bush and I am starting to think that Moby is thinking of going into politics. After using his website to attack Eminem and The Prodigy among many others here came the turn of president Bush. Here is what Moby said:
“Have you looked at bush’s proposed budget? It’s a mess. Increases go to defense and military procurement [while] just about everything else is cut. $10 billion cut from child services and health, bilions cut from education, etc.”
The statement can be found on www.moby.com
